ATL Events Group on Networking Conference in Cancun

The top performers at ATL Events Group recently returned from Mexico. They enjoyed some well-deserved rest and relaxation, traded best practice strategies with fellow marketers, and enjoyed recognition at a prestigious ceremony.

“Without a doubt, this trip was worth every ounce of effort it took for us to get there,” exclaimed Brandon, ATL Events Group’s director of operations. “The retreat from which we just returned included some of the most exceptional people in marketing, and those of us who attended are more excited about the future than ever before!” 

The event was hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya on the pristine beaches of Cancun, where Brandon and his team stayed for three days and two nights to soak up both sun and knowledge. “A big part of the trip was to relax and enjoy ourselves, but we were also there to network with colleagues from across North America and recognize the achievements of those who qualified to be there.”

Brandon was excited to mention that he had 12 team members who met the requirements for the trip. “We definitely made our presence known, and everyone knew just how great ATL Events Group has been doing this year. Not only that, but our very own Adria received the Administrator of the Year Award, and I was very honored to receive the President’s Club Award. It’s been amazing to see how far we have come as an organization, and this recognition is a testament to our incredible team.”

Travel opportunities like this one are sought out by Brandon to promote a culture of collaboration at ATL Events Group. “The work we do requires an intense amount of teamwork, so I’m always looking for ways to encourage unity and trust,” Brandon explained. “Spending some time together with coworkers outside the office setting helps us get to know one another on a more relaxed level, without all the roles and responsibilities of our daily lives.”

Of course, there aren’t many places like the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, either. “The resort is awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone – professionally or personally, it really doesn’t matter.” Brandon was particularly excited about the amenities the resort offers, which include 12 restaurants, six lounges, and over 70 spa treatment rooms. “There are also pools and a fitness room, plus the exotic locale on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. We had a fantastic time, and I’m certain we will take twice as many people with us next year.”
